Iron is a main component for blood production. almost 70% of your body’s iron is in the form of the red blood cells of your blood which is as hemoglobin and also in muscle cells as myoglobin. Hemoglobin’s main function is transferring oxygen in your body parts from the lung’s alveoli to the tissues and carbon dioxide to the lung from the tissue. Myoglobin which found in muscles, accepts, stores, transports and releases oxygen.

So iron is playing important role in our body. Deficiency of hemoglobin in blood is called as anemia which will lead to some serious troubles, hence we have to include some iron rich source in our diet. The low hemoglobin level or iron deficiency will be defeated if you eat this food.

Beets or Beetroots, (also scientifically called as Beta vulgaris ),has been used since ancient times, and the earliest signs of their cultivation was found about 4,000 years ago. Beetroot is frequently added as an ingredient to juice, salads and pickles and is also used as a natural coloring agent while making icecream, pulao, hot chocolate.

Beets nutritional content are vitamins, minerals, and organic compounds like betaine(this makes it red), carotenoids, glycine, lutein/zeaxanthin,  dietary fiber, magnesium, iron, copper and phosphorus. it is also source of flavonoids  which are better known as anthocyanins. They are very low with calories, and no cholesterol, but they have the highest sugar content of all vegetables.

Spinach

Spinach is a green, leafy vegetable which is cheap and affordable for everyone. It is a rich source of Iron, minerals, vitamins, phytonutrients (like carotenoids , lutein, zeaxanthin and flavonoids) and pigments. All of these together can make spinach very beneficial for a number of vital processes. Spinach is considered as important food source as the presence of above mentioned component and also includes potassium, manganese, zinc, magnesium, iron and calcium in good amount.

Pomegranates are delicious and flooded with the iron. Pomegranates are mostly known for their characteristic to cure all the problems related to the heart and also for maintaining effective and healthy blood circulation.
Pomegranates are considered as good sources of vitamins, which includes vitamin such as A, C and E and also contains folic acid.  This fruit consists of three times as many antioxidants as both wine or green tea.

Basil or also known as Tulsi or scientifically know as Ocimum Sanctum, is consider as the most holy plant in India. This can be found in every one’s home in India. Its said that if any home has Basil plant will keep the disease and cancer away. It also increase the amount of the Hemoglobin in blood. it is said that you should eat five leaf daily.
The holy basil’s health benefits are relief from respiratory disorders, oral care,  as well as treatment of fever, reduce stress, lung disorders, asthma and heart diseases.

Eggs contain significant levels of vitamin such as  A, B complex, D, E, and K. It also contains phosphorous, selenium, calcium, and zinc. and it also have various key organic compounds, such as omega-3 fats, antioxidants, and protein.

It is a almost round or oval or pear-shaped, seasonal fruit (rainy season) and is light green, yellow when ripe, or maroon in color on the outside. And ripe guava is so yummy and tasty to eat with black salt. It Contains Soluble Fibers which reduce the level of sugar, Cholesterol, Triglyceride. Guava is also good Source of Iron.
It is also used for treatment of diarrhea, dysentery, cough, constipation, cold, high blood pressure, weight loss,  skin care and scurvy.

Dried fruits are considered as energy supplement as they are containing good amount of calories and nutrition. They also rapidly increase the amount of red blood cell. Dried fruits like peanut, Walnut are good source of minerals which fulfill the need of the body and keep us healthy. It is advice to have 30-50gms dried fruit daily.

Vegetables generally show in long run by improving our overall health and keeping the internal systems in perfect condition. Leafy vegetables takes care of your excretory, digestive and skeletal system, and also maintain blood pressure levels.

Green vegetables are good source of Antioxidants, Vitamins  including folate, vitamin A, vitamin K and vitamin B6, as well as carotenoids, Dietary Fiber, Minerals, Proteins and Amino Acids. Phytonutrients we get from few vegetable are lycopene from tomatoes, beta carotene from carrots, zeaxanthin from greens, and lutein from spinach and collard greens.
